At first sight, "Island" ("Eiland") seems to be another lovesong about another failed relationship. But this is only one side of the story. The music video shows a quest through urban spaces and natural environments. The pictures are telling a story about desire for clarity, identity and the wish to be understood and the careful listener will find a song about insecurity, the searching and yearning for love, the need for affiliation and confindence.
